The answer
The Crimson Bear Motel gift shop has a weapon locker with the code 6671. Sources list the same code for the demo and for the 1.0 release. The locker holds the W-500 Shotgun and 12-gauge ammunition.
How to get the code
- Put money in the payphone first. One guide notes that you need to insert money before you dial.
- Dial 58883. The number is the motel’s guest-room prefix 5888 followed by the room number 3. The Welcome Booklet states that guest rooms use 5888 plus the room number, which is how the sources explain the number.
- Speak with the woman in Room 3. In a transcript of a video guide, she gives the code on condition that you have a drink with her.
- Open the locker. Go upstairs in the main building to the gift shop and enter 6671 on the locker.
What the locker holds
The locker holds the W-500 Shotgun and 12-gauge ammunition. The shotgun is optional. A developer said on June 7, 2026 that the game may be rough without it. For what the shotgun does and where to find its attachments, see the shotgun guide.
Demo and full game
The sources say the weapon’s location is the same in the demo and in the 1.0 release, and that the code has not changed. Check the current release notes before you rely on the code, because a later patch could change it.
If the code does not work
The sources describe one route only: pay at the payphone, dial 58883, and speak with the woman in Room 3. They do not describe a separate fix for a failed call, so check each step in order before you assume the code is wrong.
